Were you at the Berberian Sound Studio premiere last night? No?! Well, the only plausible excuse for missing out would be that you were on fire. Or Batman. If the former, we hope you're okay; if the latter, cooooool. But let's get back to the important topic at hand, ahem: the film was amazing and twisted--an unforgiving attack on the senses, and we don't think we'll ever think of watermelon the same way ever again. And the Twitter-verse feels the same. Feast your eyeballs on these tweets:
30 seconds into opening credits, girlfriend whispers "You're in love with it already, aren't you." She was right. #berberiansoundstudio

Berberian Sound Studio: an odd love letter to foley artists (& giallo films, kinda). Perfect for Vanguard. Toby Jones was brilliant. #TIFF12

Berberian Sound Studio: De Palma's Blow Out fused with Silenzio-era Lynch; an audacious aural assault; Toby Jones never better.
